Points2shop is a website that rewards you for filling out surveys, watching videos, a lot of the stuff you'd probably be browsing the web doing anyway (I know this is starting to sound like some spammy ad, but hey)...

What is more, they don't ask for credit card/ID/social security etc. I too was skeptical when it came to signing up on there website, but I filled in the form, clicked apply, and that's it. It didn't even want to verify my email address!

How does it work?

There site is full of offers. Some you can choose to pay for. Some of which are free. You can earn points by completing these offers, and then trade these points for stuff on there website or redeem them on Amazon.

They earn their money from the adverts you click on, the surveys you complete, or the offers you purchase. And in return they give you half of their commission in the form of gifts.

Will it cost me?

No! Although obviously the fastest way to earn points is to complete the paid offers, there is nothing forcing you to part with any cash. I, much like most members on the site, have just been completing the free offers and earning plenty of points just fine.

How long will it take me to earn XX points?

That is entirely up to you. I generally play a couple of games every day (more because of my addiction to internet flash games than anything!). But if you just picked out the offers with the highest points gain, you could easy get something of quite high value in a fairly short amount of time.

Blog clicker  - Although they don't pay, it is still a useful referrer service if you own a website and read blogs. EDIT: There is a link to request a payout, so although I haven't been able to work it out, it looks like Blog clicker does offer a way to help monetize your blog.

A great way to make money online is Amazon's Mechanical Turk. A service that allows you to search and pick tasks to complete at will.

Although at first glance, it doesn't appear to be well paid, once you have completed a few tasks you will begin to realise that there can be some serious cash up for grabs.

Ways to make money online

Here is a list of different ways how to make good money at home online:

1. Selling unwanted stuff on sites such as Amazon or eBay.
2. Write an ebook and submit it to itunes or kindle.
3. If you have any programming experience, there is a tonne of money to be made in smartphone apps. Even if you have no programming experience, sometimes all it takes is a good idea. Infinitemonkeys.mobi is a site that allows you to create a smartphone app with very little technical know-how.
4. Monetize on your Youtube videos. With viral videos capable of attracting millions of views in very short spaces of time, it's no wonder people have been making a living with their video camera.
